About Sorensen Plumbing & Heating

I started out in the trades while still in high school when I got a job during the summers at a local plumbing and mechanical shop working first as a parts runner and shop boy. It was during this time that I decided that a job in the trades was what I wanted to do. After graduating I went to trade school at North Dakota State College of Science and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Refrigeration, heating and air conditioning.

I joined the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters in 2000 and have worked in various phases of the plumbing and pipefitting industry ever since. Starting out in refrigeration and heating I turned out of the UA JATC apprenticeship program with a state issued journeyman plumbing license in 2004.

Through the years I have worked on both residential and commercial buildings and have installed and serviced refrigeration, heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems. I have also installed medical gas piping and fuel gas piping. I spent four years working on the gas side with Northwestern Energy and in 2019 decided to expand my horizons and take my master plumber test.
